TANNER, Kathaleen

Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, Arizona Friday, January 08, 2010 Kathaleen Tanner, 80, of Kingman passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2009, in Kingman. She was born Nov. 17, 1929, in West Virginia and came to Kingman more than 14 years ago from Columbus, Ohio. She was a foundry worker in West Virginia and worked in convenience stores, also in West Virginia. She retired when she came to Kingman. Kathaleen was a hard working but "tell it like it is" type of woman. After a long battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully at home, as she wanted it, with her family by her side. She was a mother to everyone who knew her, and she will never be forgotten. Kathaleen is survived by her son, Phillip Tanner of Kingman; and three daughters, Tressie Hutton of Kingman, Barbara Crego of Kingman and Linda Borden of Washington State. She is also survived by at least six grandchildren and at least four great-grandchildren. At the request of Kathaleen, there will be no services. Sutton Memorial Funeral Home is handling the cremation.
