Jack Charles Davis, 64, of Kingman passed away Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at Kingman Regional Medical Center. Jack was born Oct. 24, 1945, in Waukegan, Ill., and moved to Kingman in 1992. Jack was born into a military family and had traveled until his parents settled in Hemet, Calif. Jack was a Vietnam veteran and served his country proudly as a member of the United States Marine Corps - "Semper Fi." Jack was employed by the Kingman Unified School District as a mechanic until illness forced his retirement.
Jack is survived by his wife, Barbara of Kingman; his mother, Ida Davis of Hemet; four sisters, Linda McLaughlin of Hemet, Emily Brown of Nahcotta, Wash., Madaline Walsh of Yacolt, Wash., and Darlene Kosar of Romoland, Calif.; three daughters, Kathleen Joan Thomas of Hesperia, Calif., Sherry and Ruth Ann, and stepdaughter, Rosanna Zemba of Pennsylvania; his three sons, Jack Alfred Charles Davis II of Corona, Calif., and twins, Adam Jeremy Davis of Phelan, Calif., and Jason Mathew Davis, United States Army member of Colombia, Mich.; stepson, Benjamin Henry; and 14 grandchildren and 3 stepgrandchildren; and many wonderful friends.
Jack was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend.
After a long battle with congestive heart failure, he has joined his father, Jack Alfred Charles Davis I, and his granddaughter, Sydney Cheyenne Davis in heaven. Jack, aka Jumping Jack Flash, was the spirit of the family, always having something enlightening to say. Jack loved to fish and travel. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
There will be a memorial service in Riverside, Calif. The date is pending.
