Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, Arizona Friday, November 27, 2009 Nellie Dale Catardi, 90, of DeKalb, Ill., formerly of Kingman, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at Heritage Woods in DeKalb. She was born on Dec. 3, 1918, in Kiel, Wis., the daughter of Emil V. and Nellie D. (Mortimer) Ortlieb. She married Louis Catardi in 1945 in Chicago. She is survived by her two daughters, Sherry (Bill) Peters of DeKalb and Carol (Joe Zuchter) Catardi of Boulder, Colo.; granddaughter, Jenny (Jason) Magill of DeKalb; and two great-grandchildren, Emelia and Flynn Magill of DeKalb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; her parents; two sisters; and one brother. Cremation will take place at the Anderson Funeral Home Crematory. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nellie Dale Catardi Memorial Fund in care of the Anderson Funeral Home, P.O.
