Phyllis Rose Steward, 53, of Malta, Mont., passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, in Malta. She was born Oct. 9, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio, and came to Kingman 16 years ago from Ohio. She was a homemaker and a CNA.

Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Bargo of Dayton, Lisa Rose (James) Carter of Kingman, Jamie Miramon of Malta and Tena Steward of Malta. She is also survived by her former husband, Mike Steward of Kingman; her brothers, Donald Bohannon, Michael Bohannon and Beacher Bohannon, all of Dayton; and sisters, Laurie Bailey and Tena Bailey, both of Dayton. Also surviving Phyllis are 12 grandchildren, Mariah, Correna, Jayden Todd, Jonathon, Nathaniel, Isaac, Sage, Justice, Trinity, Kable and Allison.

The service was held on Thursday, Nov. 12, at Kirkwood Memorial Chapel in Malta.
