TORNQUIST, Vivian L.

Vivian L. Tornquist, 85, of Phoenix, passed away December 17, 2000. She was born March 2, 1915 in Lake Benton, Minnesota and moved to Phoenix from Missoula, Montana with her family in 1952. 

Preceded in death by beloved husband Harold G. Tornquist, son Douglas Hempel, grandchildren Phillip and Charles Tornquist, great-grandson Mathew Hook. She is survived by her loving daughter Maribeth Lively, sons Richard, Donald, Kenneth and Dwight Tornquist, brother Russell Nielsen, fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022 on Saturday, December 30, 2000. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to: Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
