Judith Valentine Gilliam, died April 3, 2003, after a long illness.
Born in Akron, Ohio she is preceded in death by her father H.K. Valentine and her sister Patricia Lunn. She came to Phoenix in 1968 with her first husband, the late Harry R. Stiles, and their two oldest children.
She is survived by her beloved husband Stephen D. Gilliam, her mother Lucille Valentine, sister Penny (Bill) Hurd of Dallas, Texas and brother David (Julie) Valentine. She is also survived by her children Harry (Don & Sheila) Stiles, Teresa Swan, and Daniel (Justina) Stiles. Stepchildren include Jeffrey, Gregory (Jeannie), Bryan, and Christopher (Stephanie) Gilliam and Brandy (George) Arias of Rialto, CA. She sadly leaves her grandchildren Mandy, Bethany, and Hunter Stiles and Harley Swan. Victoria, Derrien, Maya, Shane, Ashley, Haley, Allison and Colt Gilliam. Nieces and nephews: Deborah and Christine Lunn, Jennifer (David) Claerr, Amy and William Hurd Jr., Mallory and Michelle Valentine.
She would like to express to her husband's family her gratitude for their loving kindness to her before and during her illness.
Memorial service will be held at Best Funeral Ser-vices, 9380 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria, Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at 6:30 PM.
