The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, April 6, 2003 Minnie Hyduke, age 82, of Chandler, AZ, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2003. Born August 4, 1920 in Davis, OK, to William R. and Martha (Edgemon) Graham, she moved to Arizona in 1923. Mrs. Hyduke was a housewife and former infielder for the Lettuce Queens and the Mercury Blues, women's professional softball teams. Survivors include her daughters, Vicki (Tom) Barnett of Gilbert, AZ and Charlene (Tim) Potts of Johannesburg, CA; son, Gary (Sally) Hyduke of Queen Creek, AZ; grandchildren, Brandy LaCaze of Chandler, AZ, Julie Regan of Gilbert, AZ and Ryan Barnett of Gilbert, AZ; 5 great-grandchildren and one sister, Jessie Merkley. In 2002, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor. Service: 10:30 AM, Monday, April 7th at Resthaven Park Mortuary, 4310 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix.
