MENDOZA, Joaquin Arbizu

Joaquin Arbizu Mendoza, 49, a native Phoenician, born Feb. 12th, 1954, passed away April 29, 2003. He worked for the City of Phoenix as a heavy equipment mechanic for 25 years. Preceded in death by his son Michael. He is survived by his wife Rachel, son Joaquin Jr., and 2 grandsons, Joaquin John and Michael Anthony. Parents Cruz Valenzuela and Ernestine Arbizu Valenzuela, sister Margarita Merchant, brother Cruz Valenzuela Jr. Several nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. He will live forever in the hearts of all who loved him. Visitation Thursday, May 1, 2003 from 4-7 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Rosary at Universal Memorial Center at 1100 E. Jefferson St., Phoenix, AZ. Funeral Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 909 E. Washington St., Phoenix, AZ. at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 2nd. Interment in Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery at 2300 W.
