Earlene Franks-Parrish, born in Hackleburg, Alabama, lived most of her adult life in Rantoul, Illinois, being a homemaker for her husband & two sons. She moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 1982.
She married Chuck Parrish in May 1990 at Scottsdale Bible Church, where they met in a singles bible study. Earlene loved to visit folks at Orangewood Living Center and loved to be involved in ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. She and Chuck loved to travel in their R.V. the last several years.
Earlene died on Friday, Dec. 22, 2000 at 4:30PM. In addition to her husband Chuck, she is survived by sons Jerry P. Franks & Dennis M. Franks; sisters, Alpha Schultz, Marie Stidham, Willie Roby & Norma Rayburn; four grandchildren & five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Services Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000 at the Scottsdale Bible Church Chapel, 7901 E. Shea Blvd. with viewing an hour and a half prior to services. Her final resting-place will be in Hackleburg, AL.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests gifts to: "The Jesus Film Project" at 910 Calle Negocio, San Clemente, CA 92673, designated for the Earlene F. Parrish memorial fund. These gifts will provide "The Story of Jesus for Children" videos for child evangelism fellowship. Messinger Indian School Mortuary, Scottsdale, AZ.
