RENTERIA, Jimmy D.


Jimmy D. Renteria, 53, of Phoenix Az, passed away April 25, 2003. He was married 35 years to his childhood sweetheart from the 7th grade. In Oct. 1969, he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army after serving in Vietnam for 2 years. He worked 15 years for the Central Arizona Project Water Conservation District before retiring in 1994. Preceded in death by his father, Frank. Survivors include: Wife, Dalia; Mother, Irene; daughters: Melissa, Melanie & Theresa; sisters: Carmen, Betty, Pauline and Yolanda; brothers; Eddie, Frank, Ricky & Alex; grandchildren: Xavier, Marissa, Amanda, Lauren, Jimmy, Celeste, Frank, Andrew, Faith & Christian. He was truly blessed and will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Services will be held Friday, May 2nd at 10am at Our Lady of Fatima, 1418 S. 17th Ave., Phoenix. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road. Published in the Arizona Republic on 5/1/2003.
