SHAFFER, Phyllis

Phyllis Shaffer, 76, of Scottsdale, died April 26, 2003. Born in Wabash, Indiana on May 13, 1926, Phyllis had served 55 years with her husband as ministers in the Church. She served as church secretary, choir director and chalk artist in revivals. She was office manager and secretary at high schools in Tucson and Ventura, CA and was a Forwarding agent for a missionary couple in Africa for 15 years. Survivors include her husband, Dee and two brothers, Charles Simpson of El Paso, TX and Ben (Doris) Simpson of Ft. Wayne, IN. A Memorial Service will be held 10am Saturday, May 3 at Camelback Christian Church, 6235 E. Camelback Road, Scottsdale. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church in Phyllis' memory.
