SHARPE, Sarah Nicole

Sarah Nicole Sharpe, age 21, of Avondale Arizona, passed away April 26, 2003. She was an accomplished soccer player beginning AYSO, continuing at Independence High School where she was 1st Team All State. Sarah played at Paradise Valley Community College in their inaugural year. Her second year there, she was voted MVP and 1st Team All Conference. Sarah was to begin playing for AZ Women's Professional Team, The Saguaros this summer and planned to attend Grand Canyon University in the fall playing with their soccer team. Sarah's love for life showed in all she did and anyone whose life she touched. Her finance, Jeremy, had proposed on New Year's 2003 and they had begun a new chapter of their life together. She is survived by her father, Brad Sharpe; mother, Paula Sharpe; sister, Katie Martin; brother, Stephen Sharpe; fiance, Jeremy Turnage; step mother, Nancy Sharpe and grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services on Thurs., May 1, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, Serenity Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave. (602)272-5639.
