Anne C. Clark, 85, of California died peacefully Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, in Victorville, Calif.
Anne was born March 9, 1924, in Blanco Canyon, N.M., to the late Shone and Sarah (Charley) Armijo. Anne attended school near Durango, Colo. and Toadlena, N.M. She worked at various jobs throughout her life that took her to California and then Arizona. She met Newman C. Clark in Stockton, Calif., and later they were married in Phoenix. They moved to Winslow where their two children were born. From there they moved to Belmont and then to Barstow, Calif.
After Newman's retirement, they spent time with relatives in Arizona and New Mexico.
Anne is survived by her two children Lena A. Guza and Newman J. Clark; two grandchildren Lance and Joletta Clark; two brothers John Willie and Carl Chee as well as a sister, Pearl Chee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Newman C. Clark (2006).
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at the First Southern Baptist Church, 360 N. 1st Avenue in Holbrook. The concluding service and interment will follow at the Holbrook Cemetery.
Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook handled arrangements.
