CHILDRESS, Lynda


Lynda Childress, 72, a homemaker and long time resident of New River, went to sleep in death Sunday, April 27, 2003. Along with her late husband Ralph, Lynda devoted most of her life to raising their large family. She was a member of the Black Canyon City Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed studying the Bible for many years. Lynda is survived by her ten children: Dennis Dendy, Debi Vetter, Ray Dendy, Karen Long, Norm Childress, Buster Childress, Sue Cicala, Stephen Childress, Lynn Childress, and Leah Hampton; grandchildren: Melissa, Tray, Meagan, Krysta, Ashley, Kalyn, Kenzi, Will, Kylee, Kara, Wesley, Tanya, Cole, Clay, Cassidy, Jessica, Hannah, Zane, Taylor, Preston and Dylan; great-grand children: Mickelle, Jace, Trayton, Tanner, Madeline, Seth, Cole, Carter, Conner, Graycie, Nicholas, Krisa, Skyler, and Cassidy. Survivors also include sisters: Verda Loftus and Sylvia Trout.
