LAIRD, Sarah Renae

Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Saturday, January 09, 2010 Sarah Renae Laird, 53, passed away December 27, 2009 at Verde Valley Medical Center. She was born in Willmar, MN on December 27, 1956. She moved to Arizona at age 10. She graduated from Apollo High School in Glendale, AZ. She worked for the City of Cottonwood for about 13 years. She was a member of the Verde Valley Chapter of the Modified Motorcycle Association. She married Gary Laird in 1983. She is survived by her husband Gary, son Geoffrey of Scottsdale, brother Eric Lindquist of Tucson, parents Charles and Lynne Lindquist of Phoenix, and parents Robert and Margaret Uitz of Heber. Sarah leaves her heart with many people. She was a kind and loving person known to all as "Mama Sarah." She will be missed and loved by many friends and acquaintances. The memorial service will be held at the American Legion Post 25, 480 Calvary Way in Cottonwood, on January 29, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A celebration of her life will follow at the Rockin' B Saloon in Cottonwood.
