SCHULTZ, James Merle


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, April 8, 2003 James Merle Schultz passed on April 7, 2003 in the presence of family while being cared for by the excellent staff at Banner West Hospice House. Jim's long life partner in wedded bliss, Audrey Ruth and son Steven L. have previously passed on. Survivors include a daughter Robin K., and son James R. and wife Patricia J., who was wonderfully helpful to Jim during his final months. Other survivors include his only living sibling Ruth I. Halferty, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Jim would like to thank his friends and church family for their cards, calls, and prayers. Jim had many accomplishments, but was most proud of being a diligent and steadfast husband, father, grandfather, and great great grandfather, and his love for the Lord Jesus Christ. He was also a proud vet serving his country on the Lawrence C. Taylor DE 415 in the Pacific. Jim was also a successful businessman retiring as part owner of Tri Sales Co. Family and friends will celebrate his passing at Greenwood Memory Lawn Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave. Phoenix on Wednesday April 9, 2003 at 1:00 P.M.
