DENTON, Jimmie

Jimmie Denton, of Phoenix, passed away April 28, 2003. Jimmie Denton was born in Oakland, Arkansas on August 25, 1910. He grew up in Oklahoma and later moved to Arizona where he met and married Helen Marie Allen 65 years ago, on September 1, 1937. Jimmie loved to hunt and fish and was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his children, son Ted Phillip, daughter Shirley, grandchildren James, John, Shelly, Linda, Tracy, and Crystal, great-grandchildren Tanya, Justin, Mycal, Tyler, Jesse, Julie, Stephen, Taylor, Amanda, Brandi, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation Sunday, May 4, 2003, 6-8pm A. L. Moore GrimShaw Mortuaries, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd.; Graveside service to be held Monday, May 5, 2003, 11am, SW corner Memory Lawn Cemetery, 27th Ave and Van Buren.
