GUENTHER, Carl Newton

Carl Newton Guenther, 93, of Sun City, AZ passed away April 30, 2003. Carl was born December 20, 1909 in Greenfield, Missouri to Carl and Martha Guenther. A retired Accountant for BP Amoco, he moved to Sun City in 1972 from Oklahoma. He was a member of Faith Prestyterian Church and a past member of Union Hills Country Club in Sun City. A loving father, Carl is survived by daughter Sue Ann (Bob) Sealey of Aurora, CO. Son Michael (Phyllis) Guenther of Casper, WY and Sun City, AZ. 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters as well as his first wife Melba and second wife Lucille. No services are planned in Sun City as was Carl's request. Private services will be held at Little Big Horn Ranch in Sheridan, WY. Contributions may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church of Sun City and to Highway Christian Hospice, 67 E. Weldon Ave. #317, Phoenix, AZ 85012. Published in the Arizona Republic on 5/2/2003.
