ORTA, Clyde Mendez

Clyde Mendez Orta, 58, passed away March 31, 2008. 

He was born January 14, 1950 in Yuma, AZ. 

He was a concrete finisher that collected knives and watches and he loved every outdoor activity, but most of all he loved his family. 

Clyde was preceded in death by his mother Adelia, father Manuel, sisters Margie Orta and Edna Estrada and brother Henry Orta. He was survived by; sisters Julia Williams, Ester (Lupe) Rodriquez, Rita (Jose) Palomares, Martha De los Reyes; brothers Lorenzo Orta, Tony (Lydia) Orta, Eddie (Rita) Orta, Philip (Cristina) Orta and Jimmy (Helen) Orta; children Gilbert (Kelly) Orta, Clyde (Rosie) Orta, Sunshine (Gilbert) Orta-Torres and Ted (Veronica) Braunch; 13 grandchildren as well as hundreds of nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held at Johnson Mortuary Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1415 South 1st Avenue, Yuma, AZ 85364 on Saturday April 5, 2008 at 8:30 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Orta Family in care of the Johnson Mortuary.
