GONZALEZ, Carlos F. (Carlitos)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 9, 2003 Carlos F. "Carlitos" Gonzalez, born June 1, 1912 in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico. Went to be with the Lord on April 4th 2003 at the age of 90 years old. He came to Arizona from Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico in 1941. He came to work under a contract with Southern Pacific railroad. He continued his life here in Phoenix, Arizona, met and married our Mother Adelina Encinas Gonzalez. He retired after 33 yrs. with Southern Pacific. He was a member of Abundant Life Center, one of his dreams was to become a U.S. citizen, which he accomplished and proudly received in Aug. of 2000. He was a very loving and compassionate Father, Grandfather. He also was very active in his children's lives up until he went or be with the Lord. He was well known by many in the community, he also was a member of Abundant Life Center A/G he will be greatly missed but never forgotten. He is survived by his nine children: Anthony G. (Rhonda), Yolanda G., Ana K. (Robert), Linda P. (Robert), Albert G. (Carrie), Edward G. (Terri), Christina V. (Jesse), David G., Terrie M., (James) 20 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will on April 10th 5-8pm with Rosary at 7pm., @ Mortensen Kings Funeral Center 2225 N. 16th St. Services: April 11 10am @ Abundant Life Center 3535 N. 63rd Ave. Interment: East Resthaven Park Cemetery.
