VILLALOVOS, Virginia

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 9, 2003 Virginia Baca Villalovos, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away April 6, 2003. Virginia was a loving wife and mother with a strong fiery spirit that captivated all. Virginia had a passion and gift for bilingual education. She used that gift to enrich the lives of those who surrounded her at the Glendale Elementary School District. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years David; 2 daughters, Melinda and Melissa; one son Michael; 4 brothers, Rudy, Ventura, Carlos and Arnold; and 2 grandchildren, Elijah and Mia. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Thompson. Virginia will be missed greatly by her family, friends, co-workers, and students. She will live forever in our hearts. Visitation will be Friday, 4/11/03 from 5-8pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria. Mass is Sat. morning at 8:30am at St. Helens Catholic Church, 5501 West Cholla Ave., Glendale. Burial services will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Rd., Avondale.
