QUIGLEY, Harry E., Sr.

Harry E. Quigley, Sr. (Capt.) Fortified with the Sacrament of Holy Mother Church was born on September 20, 1914 & died on June 4, 2003.

Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Frisella) father of Rosemarie Ambs (nee Quigley), James, Robert, Harrison & Michael. Grandfather of ten, great-grandfather of four. Uncle, brother-in-law and Great Uncle.

Harry was the Troop transport commander of the USAT Monterey & author of "Troopship Monterey." He was an accomplished pianist & could hit a baseball over the stands.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 7, 2003, from 9am to noon at Best Funeral Services, 9380 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria, AZ. Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30pm at St. Joachim & St. Anne, 11625 N. 111th Ave., Sun City, AZ with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Road.
