HUMMELL, Clarence E.

Clarence E. Hummell, 89, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2002, in Scottsdale. He was born August 10, 1913 in Red Cloud, Nebraska. He moved to Phoenix from Concordia, KS in 1953. He retired from Maricopa Meat Packing Co. in 1978. Prior to residing, most recently, at the Scottsdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center he lived at Chris Ridge Village for 5 years. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite, who passed away in March of 1974. He is survived by his children: Phillip Hummell of Peoria, Ron Hummell, Mary Strop, and Paul Hummell, all of Phoenix a brother, Neil Hummell of Concordia, KS a sister, Doris Nelles of Tulsa, OK 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2002 at St. Francis Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society P0 Box 13600, Phoenix 85002.
