MCGRIFF, Walter Clinton

Walter Clinton McGriff, 83, of Phoenix, passed away December 1, 2002. He was born January 5, 1919 in Liberty, AZ. He was a Life time member of the BPOE #499 in Flagstaff. He was also a member of the American Legion in Flagstaff, VFW in Flagstaff, VFW in Prescott Valley, and Prescott Valley United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Bricklayers Union for 65 years. Walter is survived by his wife, Margie McGriff daughters, Linda McGriff and Christine Jones brothers, Wayne McGriff and Mason Ballard sister Ueral Miller sister-in-law Audrey Hatch 3 grandchildren, Tiffany, Eva, and Sammy 4 Great-grandchildren, Katrina, Kaitlin, Joshua, and Megan. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 9, 2002, Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th St., Phoenix. Interment will follow at the Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix. There will be a Memorial service December 16, 2002, at the Flagstaff BPOE Lodge, 2101 N. San Francisco St.. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
