MEDINA, Frances M.

Frances M. Medina, 83, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother passed away peacefully on December 2, 2002. She was born on May 10, 1919 in Mesa, AZ., and raised in Guadalupe. 

She was a seamstress in her younger years. She later married Raul Medina and together they had a family of seven children. Frances was a gracious and kind individual known as a great cook by the family and friends. Those who knew and loved her knew Frances as "Kika". She will be missed. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Raul and daughter Patricia Ortega. Frances is survived by her sister Emma Medina, sons Wally and Alfred Medina, daughters Margie Orozco, Inez Ramirez, Delia Arebi, and Diana Diaz de Leon, 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. 

Visitation Thursday, December 5, 2002, at Greer-Wilson Funeral Home, 5921 W. Thomas Rd., Phx. and services held at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 3140 N. 51st Ave., on Friday, December 6, 2002. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Rd., Avondale, AZ.
