She grew up at the original Ahwatukee Ranch. She attended Kyrene elementary school and Tempe High School. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church and sang in the choir. She is survived by her husband Lowell, sons Byron (Heather), and David. Daughter Kathy Martin (Jim) 6 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren, sisters Ann Adams, Delilah Cossentine, Wanda Carter. Visitation will be Thursday April 10, 2003 at Carr Tenney Mortuary 2621 S. Rural Rd. Tempe. Services will be Friday April 11, 2003 at First Baptist Church of Tempe 4525 S. McClintock Tempe, Arizona.
