The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, April 10, 2003 Helen D. Sierpina, passed away on April 7, 2003 in Phoenix. Mrs. Sierpina is survived by her husband Victor of Phoenix, Children Victor (Michelle) Sierpina of Galveston, TX, Bernard (Theresa) Sierpina of Wittmann, AZ., Joyce (John) Jewson of Phoenix, Paul (Angela) Sierpina of Cave Creek, AZ. Two brothers Dominic and Theodore Domoradzki, One sister Edna Sierpina; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday April 11, at 1:00pm at SS. Simon and Jude Cathedral, 6351 N. 27th. Ave, Phoenix, AZ. A gathering will be held prior to the mass from 12 -1 at the church. Committal services will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Sierpina, 80, went home to be with Jesus on April 7, 2003. She is survived by her husband Victor of Phoenix, children Victor (Michelle) of Galveston, TX, Bernard (Theresa) of Wittmann, AZ, Joyce (John) Jewson of Phoenix, Paul (Angela) of Cave Creek AZ, two brothers, Dominic and Theodore Domoradzki, and sister Edna Sierpina. She has 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A beloved wife, mother, and homemaker, she served as a volunteer at the Phoenix Baptist Hospital for 30 years and worked for a time at the Post Office. Her baked goods, homegrown flowers, loving smile, and prayers have brightened many lives. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 11 at 12:00 PM at SS. Simon and Jude Cathedral, 6351 N. 27th Ave, Phoenix, with a visitation prior to the mass 11:30 AM at the church. Committal services will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
