Virgie Lee Edmonds, 84, of Buckeye died Jan. 11, 2010, in Peoria.

Mrs. Edmonds was born Sept. 26, 1925, in Osceola, Ark., to George and Ruth Croff. She was raised in Arkansas and moved to Arizona after marrying Charles Edmonds. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Edmonds is survived by two sons, George and Charles; two sisters, Audrey Pearce and Shelby Lackey; one brother, Orval "Buddy" Croff; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held Jan. 14 at Pentecostal Church of God in Buckeye. Interment was at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery in Buckeye.

Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home made the arrangements.
