Francisco Uribe, 76, of Tolleson died Jan. 2, 2010, at West Valley Hospital in Goodyear.

Mr. Uribe was born June 4, 1933, in Mixtlan, Jalisco, Mexico. He worked on farms in California as part of the United State's Brasero program. After moving to Arizona, he worked for the Tolleson school district, Everkrisp Vegetable Inc. and the Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa, where he retired.

Visitation will run from 9 to 11 a.m. today at Crystal Rose Funeral Home, 9155 W. Van Buren St. in Tolleson. Services will begin at 11. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale.
