Alice Vaughn, 88, died April 9 in Phoenix. Born Alice Elma Geyer April 3, 1915 in OK. She was the wife of Charles "Tip" Vaughn. In Arizona since 1981, most of that time in Circle City. She was a nurse's assistant in Winfield, KS, and Scottsdale, AZ. She formerly played piano for Morristown Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at 2p.m. Sunday at Happy Valley Baptist Church, 24220 N. 43rd Ave, Glendale, led by Chaplain E.J. Chafin.
Survivors: husband; daughters Virginia Jennings, Glendale and Glenda Walton, Tucson; sister Pearl E. Geyer of Tecumseh, OK; grandchildren, Terry Puhala, Tucson; Don Halderman, Phoenix; Carole Magnuson, Glendale; Michael Puhala, San Francisco, and 6 great-grandchildren.
