EGER, William J.

William J. Eger, 85, of Phoenix, died at his home on May 31, 2003. He was born on October 28, 1917 in Owensboro, KY. He served in the Army during WWII.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, just 3 months ago, after 60 years of marriage. He is survived by one sister, Wilda Groom of Florence, SC.

Visitation at 8am, Tuesday, June 10, 2003, followed by Mass at 9am at St. Francis Xavier Church, 4715 N. Central Ave., Phoenix. Burial will be at 11am with military honors at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix. Arrangements handled by A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel.
