MCSHAY, James T.


James T. McShay, formerly of Indianapolis, was born on May 13, 1932. He attended the University of Conn., and Indiana University. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1951, and served in the Korean war. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He began a long career in the insurance industry in 1956, as a salesman for Prudential Ins. Co. He ended with his retirement with Scottsdale Ins. Co. in 1998. He was in marketing and claims during his career. He was an Arizona resident since 1986, living in Scottsdale and Surprise. He was a life member of both the VFW and the NRA. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, of which he was a past Grand Knight. He is survived by his wife Sue Greiner McShay; sons Timothy, Patrick, and Christian; daughter Anne; and six grandchildren; brothers John and Don McShay; sisters Mary K. Holland of Indianapolis and Maureen Iverson of Bloomington, IL. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, June 13, 2003 at 9:30 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 14818 W. Deer Valley Dr., Sun City West, AZ, with interment at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
