SMITH, Theodora M.

Theodora M. (Bruner) Smith, 76 years of Palo Verde, Az. "Teddy" was born November 22, 1926 to parents Fred Leroy & Vivian Bruner. She grew up in Palo Verde & graduated from Buckeye High School. She went to A.S.U. where she graduated & obtained her teaching certificate. She taught for many years before retiring. She enjoyed her painting & reading & also liked to work in her garden. She was a member of the N.E.A. & The Arizona Education Association. She is survived by her children, Celene Smith of Prescott & David Smith of Anthem. She has 4 brothers, Fred Leroy Bruner Jr. of Bisbee, Stanley Howard Bruner of San Antonio, William Bruner of Las Vegas and Paul Bruner of Tempe; sister, Pauline Coleman of Chandler; 3 grandchildren Jacob, Cole & Noah. Visitation on Friday at the Buckeye Funeral Home. The funeral will be on Saturday at the Palo Verde Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Palo Verde Cemetery.
