SHELLEY, William J. (Bill)

William J. "Bill' Shelley, 58 of Goodyear, passed away April 30 in Phoenix. 

Bill was born in New York, NY on May 11, 1944 to William and Ann Shelley. He served in the navy during the Vietnam war on the air craft carrier USS Independence in the mid 60's. Bill owned a package store for 10 years and was in management in the computer industry for 20 years and retired in 2000. 

Bill is survived by his wife Paula, son Michael, both of Goodyear, daughters Nancy Darmoey of Reston, Virginia, and Laura Herron of Philadelphia; brothers Sean, Daniel and Michael; sister Mary Anne Jimenez, and his mother Ann "Nance' Shelley. 

Memorial services will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 447 S. Old Litchfield Rd., Litchfield Park on Sat. May 3 at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to International Myeloma Foundation, 12650 Riverside Drive, Suite 206, North Hollywood, CA 91607-3421.
