The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, April 11, 2003 Nick G. Venetis, 66, fell asleep in the Lord, April 9, 2003, in Phoenix. He was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, August 1, 1936. He retired from A.J. Bayless after 34 years of service. Nick is preceded in death by his father, George, mother, Mary, brothers, Ted, John, Jim and sister, Katherine. Surviving are his sisters, Stella Markakis and Paula (Polly) Farr. Also surviving are 11 nephews and nieces. Visitation will be Sunday, 6 to 8 PM, with the Trisagion service 7 PM at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. Funeral service will be Monday 10AM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1973 E. Maryland. Burial to follow at Greenwood memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 W. Van Buren. Contributions may be made in Nick's memory to St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 2716 N.
