ALDRICH, Norbert (Norb)


The Wickenburg Sun Wednesday, October 27, 1993 Norbert "Norb" Aldrich of Estes Park, Colorado, former resident of Wickenburg, died at his home Sept. 16, 1993, after an extended battle with cancer. He was 63. Mr. Aldrich was born April 19, 1930, in Sterling, Illinois, where he attended Catholic Community High School. He then went on to attend Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, graduating with a degree in Pharmacy. After graduation, he married Ellen Sabatka in Omaha in 1952. They were married 26 years. Mr. Aldrich purchased Alpine Pharmacy in Estes Park in 1965, which he continued to operate until 1985 when he opened a new pharmacy in a different location also in Estes Park. During that same period, he came to Wickenburg, where he owned and operated Wickenburg Pharmacy from September 1975 until he closed out in 1979 and returned to Estes Park, which was his main residence. He was married to Jacqueline Belt in November 1978 in Estes Park. He is survived by his wife, Jackie, of Estes Park and four children: Michael J. Aldrich of Estes Park, DeAnna Aldrich of Loveland, CO, Deborah Graham Aldrich of Sterling, Ill.; sister Dorothy Palmer of Rock Falls, Ill; seven grandchildren, three of which are Jason, Brandon, and Shyla Dixon of Wickenburg. Memorial services were held in Estes Park.
