BROWN, Vertis (Gill)

The Wickenburg Sun Wednesday, October 13, 1993 Vertis "Gill" Brown of Wittmann died Oct. 8, 1993, at Watler O. Boswell Hospital in Sun City. He was 69. Mr. Brown was born Oct. 2, 1924 in Grovehill, Alabama, and had lived in Arizona for 31 years. He was a World War II Navy Veteran in the Atlantic Theater and a carpenter for 25 years with Housing Contractors. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Sara, of Wittmann; daughter, Billie Edwards, also of Wittmann; son, James L. Danzey of Bullhead City; sister Nora Huggins of Groville, Ala.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Private services will be held at a later date. Camino Del Sol Funeral Home in Sun City West handled the arrangements.
