CLINE, Glen Ernest


The Wickenburg Sun Wednesday, December 22, 1993 CLINE, Glen Glen Ernest Cline of Wickenburg died Dec. 18, 1993, in Wickenburg. He was 85. Mr. Cline was born Nov. 23, 1908, in Clearwater, Kansas, and had lived in Arizona for 21 years moving here from California. He attended schools in Burr Oak, Kansas, and was graducated from the University of Southern California. He was an educator associated with Pasadena City College for 40 years as a chemistry teacher, counselor and dean. During his tenure there, he was commended for his outstanding work and service to the college. In 1972, Mr. Cline reitred and moved to Wickenburg to enjoy his horses and gardening. He also was an avid sports fan and was a member of the First Presbvyterian Church of Wickenburg where he sang in the choir. Mr. Cline was also a member of the California Retired Teachers Association, Phi Beta Kappa and the Trojan Club of USC. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Edna; cousins Dean Cline and various other cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1993) at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Pastor James Longstreet will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Wickenburg. Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg handled the arrangements.
