Kenneth R. Ridenour, 72, born May 29, 1931 in Kokomo, Indiana. Son of Henry and Mary (Bridge). Married Ann Van Ness, June 6, 1958. Son, Richard.
Moved to Phoenix in 1945; graduated Phoenix Union High School, 1949. Served in U.S. Army, 1949-1952. Served in Korean War with rank of Master Sergeant. Earned Bachelor degree with highest honors from Arizona State University, 1957 and Masters degree, 1958. Taught 33 years. Active in Arizona Education Association and President of Phoenix Union High School Classroom Association. Author of three books on Ridenour genealogy. Traveled widely to Europe, Asia, Mexico and Caribbean.
Preceded in death by Irene, Betty Jo, Charles, and Harry. Survived by James, Helen Moffitt, Patsy Mavity and Dorothy Littrell. Memorial Service will be Saturday, June 14, 2003, at 1:00pm at Camelback Sunset Chapel at 301 W. Camelback Rd. Flowers or Donations to Hospice of the Valley 1510 E. Flower, Phoenix. 85014.
