The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 23, 2003 Edith Gertrude (Bushong) Burke, 85, passed away April 19, 2003 in Payson, Arizona. A memorial service will be announced by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Hospice. She was born April 28, 1917 in Douglas, AZ. and lived in Tonopah for 25 years. Edith was one of five girls and two boys. She was married to Melvin F. Baker and had three sons, Sonny, Robert and Tommy and one daughter Cherrie. She is survived by one sister, Lois; sons, Robert and Tommy and daughter, Cherrie Mullinix; 14 grand children; 35 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren.
