BORMETH, Evelyn Evon

Evelyn Evon (Jacoby) Bormeth passed away June 8, 2003. Evelyn is survived by her husband Andreas Bormeth, her brother George Jacoby of Wheatridge, CO., and 2 Sisters; Joyce Nieberger of Sun City Grand of Surprise, AZ., and Patricia Payne of Tickett, Wi., along with 2 Nieces and 2 Nephews. Evelyn was born September 21, 1945 in Denver Colorado. She was educated in Greeley Colorado and worked at the Denver Post for many years. She later moved to Mesa Arizona and retired from Motorola. Evelyn was very active in the Fountain of the Sun Community in various areas, including President of the FOSCA and President of the Nine Hole Ladies Golf Association. Evelyn's last days were spent at Hospice of the Valley. The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley in her name at: 6063 East Arbor Avenue, Mesa, Arizona 85205. A Memorial Service will be held for Evelyn on June 13, 2003 at the Fountain of the Sun Rec Hall at 11:00 AM. Published in The Arizona Republic on 6/11/2003.
