HADDIX, Ken E.


Ken E. Haddix, 71, passed peacefully on June 9, 2003 with family at his bedside. He was born in July of 1931, the second son in a family of three girls and four boys. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Korean War. In his younger years he was active in the Lexington community, and served as president of the then Lexington Jaycees. He moved to Scottsdale with his family in 1966. He was a member and past president of the Arizona Home Furnishings Club. He was also a founding member of the Arizona Design Community. He combined his love of tennis and service to his community. For over 15 years, he played in tournaments, served as a club captain, and as president of the Valley's Men's Inter-club league. His three loving children and four grandchildren survive him. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 12th, 4pm, Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7602 E.
