LARKIN, Wilbur John

Wilbur John Larkin, 81, of Mesa, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2003 in Apache Junction, AZ. 

He was born in Wolcott, NY, served in the U.S. Marine Corps with distinction during World War II as being part of the first Marine Division during the invasion of Guadalcanal and the Solomon Islands. Bill moved to Arizona 44 years ago and worked as an Insurance Salesman. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Helen; daughters, Lora Zimmerman & Dona (Charles) Butz; sisters, Doris Isaac & Olive Van Liere; brother, Delbert Larkin; grandsons, Michael Butz & David Zimmerman. 

Memorial service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, May 5, 2003 at Bunker's Desert View Chapel, with interment at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ.
