STELTON, Dale J.

Dale J. Stelton, 67, passed on to new life June 4, 2003, from his home in Goodyear. Born in Watkins, MN. he lived in Grayslake, IL, until moving to Phoenix in 1985. He attained rank of SSgtE6 in the USAR in Minnesota and Third Degree Knights of Columbus in Libertyville, IL. His career was in Information Systems. For the past seven years he was an associate of Home Depot. A communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas, Avondale, and formerly of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Phoenix, where he was a Cathecist and Pastoral Minister of Care for Encore Senior Village and Life Care Center, Northeast Phoenix. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Carlidge McConnell Stelton; mother Lorraine B. Leither Stelton; son Kevin Stelton, Phoenix; daughter Donnell Stelton-Peebles, Grayslake; Nanette Wiederin, Wildwood; and Shari Stelton, Round Lake, all IL, and six granddaughters. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:00am Friday June 13, 2003, at St. Joan of Arc, 3801 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix. Following a luncheon reception at St. Bernadette's, Scottsdale, interment will be at 2:00pm Friday June 13 Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery, Phoenix.
