SIMMONS IS LAID TO REST Funeral services were conduced Monday at the Wickenburg Chapel for Samuel Hugh Simmons, 68 years old, who passed away last Saturday. Mr Simmons, owner of the Cactus Gardens, came here in 1937. He was born in Illinois, though he spent the major portion of his life in Texas, later moving to southern California. A memeber of the Round-up Club since he came here, Mr Simmons always took an active part in the civic affairs of the town and its betterment. Simple but impressive funeral services were conducted by the Rev. B. Ross Cleeland after which interment was made in the Wickenburg Cemetery. In addition to his wife, Myrtle L. he is survived by a brother, Gordon, of Washington.
