CARVER, Samuel Douglas, Jr.

Samuel D. Carver Jr., 64, of Phoenix, AZ was called into heaven on June 7, 2003. Samuel Douglas Carver Jr. was born on October 28, 1938 in Granada, Mississippi. Sam spent the majority of his life in Phoenix, AZ. He supervised and managed machine shops for over 30 years. He was a well read, educated man who enjoyed creative writing and computer projects. His kind, gentle and loving demeanor enriched the lives of those who knew him. His best qualities were the love and devotion he shared with his wife Katherine of 20 years and daughter Sherri Dawson (Thomas). He was recently blessed with his greatest joy, a grandson Domenic Dawson. He is also survived by daughters Kim Corlis and Carrie Sue Peterson Sam was a loving husband, father & friend who touched the lives of everyone he met. He will remain with all of us today and tomorrow as he did yesterday. To respect his wishes no memorial service or funeral will be held.
