MANGENO, Nathan James

Nathan James Mangeno of Tempe, Arizona and formerly of Chicago, died Friday, May 2, 2003 in Mesa. He was 85. 

Mr. Mangeno was born on March 18, 1918 in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph & Josefine (Cosentino) Mangiarcina. He was a United States Air Force veteran serving during WWII and did receive the Purple Heart. 

He is survived by his wife, Ione Dehn Mangeno; 3 daughters: Pamela Petramala (Thomas), Patricia Lee (Robert), Susan Kryn (Jerry); brother, Peter Mangeno, and 7 grandchildren. 

A Rosary Service will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at the Parish of St. Benedict, 6400 W. Del Rio in Chandler, Arizona. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM. Private Interment will be at The National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
