Maurice Dwight "Doc" Pulsifer, of Page, Arizona, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2003.
He was born May 27, 1903 in Iron Mountain, Michigan. At age 2 he moved to Ariz-ona with his family where he spent most of the rest of his 99 years.
He is survived by Cathryn "Kay" Pulsifer, his wife of 70 years, and his sons David (Amy) of Springerville, Arizona and Carl of Mesa. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He had 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Doc was an entrepreneur and self-educated businessman. Although Doc and Kay took time out to travel, Doc never really retired. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and sincere devotion to his wife.
A visitation will be held at Bunker Family Funeral Home, 33 N. Centennial Way in Mesa on Thursday, May 8 from 6-8 PM. Graveside services will be at Mesa City Cemetery on Country Club and Brown on Friday, May 9 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower, Phoenix 85014.
