The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Wednesday, February 3, 1993 ESSES, Michael Isaiah Michael Isaiah Esses, Ph.D., of Circle City, died Jan. 29, 1993, at Del Webb Hospital, Sun City. He was 69. Me. Esses was born April 28, 1923, at Brooklyn, New York, and had lived in Arizona for 7 years. A Hebrew scholar and Old Testament expositor, and the son and grandson of Rabbis, Dr. Esses was trained in the Torah and Talmud to follow in his father's rabbinical footsteps. Dr. Esses had referred to himself as a "Messianic Jew" because of his personal spiritual encounter with Jesus Christ. Dr. Esses had been a Minister and Spiritual writer for several years and is known for his eight best selling books of which he newest book "All of God's Promises are Yours for Just Saying Yes and Amen Lord" has already become a best seller. Esses is survived by his wife, Billie Jean of Circle City; daughters, Deborah of Circle City, Lori and Kathy of Calif., and a son, John, also of California. Services for Dr. Esses will be held today, Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 3:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Wickenburg. Dr. Bert Follmar and Pastor Gary Golike will officiate with entombment at the Wickenburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wickenburg Christian Academy. Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
