HUNTER, Richard
Richard "Dick" A. Hunter of Wickenburg died November 3, 1993, in Wickenburg. He was 68. He was born August 15, 1925 in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Archie and Grace Hunter. He spent his school years in St. Croix Falls, Wis., where he married his wife, Ethel Olson. The family moved to Post Falls, Idaho, in 1948 where they raised their family. He worked for the former Ideal Basic Industries, now Holnam, Inc., in Spokane, Wash., for the next 32 years. In 1980 he retired and moved to Wickenburg where he spent the remainder of his life. He was active in the Wickenburg Horseman's Association and the Hassayampa Hoedowner's Square Dance Club. He loved life and had a sense of humor that will be remembered by all who knew him. Mr. Hunter is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ethel; sons, James Hunter, wife Jane; granddaughters, TIffany and Amber of Port Huron, Michigan; Hugh Hunter, wife Sue, grandson Andrew and granddaughter Christa of Sacramento, Calif.; daughter Penny Hunter Peck and husband James, grandsons Joe and Kyle of Whitefish, Montana; sisters Lois Hunter and Daphne Hunter Parker of Spokane, Wash., and many nieces and nephews. Private family services have been held. Frey Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
